The Arts Centre
The Arts Centre is Melbourne’s premier cultural hub, located on St Kilda Road by the Yarra River. Designed by architect Sir Roy Grounds in 1960 and constructed in 1973, the centre was finally fully opened in 1984.

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image – or ACMI – is located in Federation Square in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Less than 10 years old, the state-of-the-art centre is dedicated to the preservation, exhibition and promotion of Australian and international screen content.
St Kilda Beach
Melbourne’s most famous beach is located just 6km from the CBD in the inner city suburb of St Kilda. The picturesque, sandy shoreline stretches 700 metres along the northeast corner of Port Phillip Bay, and is a favourite destination for Melburnians and visitors alike.
