Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy

All reservations must be secured with a valid credit card at the time of booking for the booking client.
Guest will be required to present the same credit card and matching photo ID upon arrival.

General Reservations & Payment Policy:

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. Please advise the hotel of any amendments or cancellations prior to 48 hours of the day of arrival.

On Arrival:

The guest who made the booking will be required to provide ID as well as the same Credit Card that was provided when the booking was made, there is a requirement of AUD$35.00 pre-authorization on arrival; within 14 days of check-out the pre-authorization of AUD $35.00 would be cleared by your financial institution.

Multiple Room/Suite Reservations:

Full prepayment for one night’s accommodation is required in advance by credit card or other means for all multiple rooms/suites at the time when the booking is made.

Two Bedroom Riverview Suite & Two Bedroom Suite Reservations:

Full prepayment for one night’s accommodation is required in advance by credit card or other means for all Two Bedroom Suites at the time when the booking is made.

 

Event Dates & High Demand Periods:

Full payment is required in advance by credit card for all reservations over Event &

High Demand Periods, such as the weekends, sporting events, concerts, or others, at the time of making the booking.

The cancellation policy requires 14 days’ notice before arrival.
Cancellations/amendments within 14 days of arrival may incur 1 night’s accommodation charge.

 

Credit Card Charges:  

A 2.5% surcharge applies for all American Express & Diners Club Card transactions.
A 1.3% surcharge applies for all MasterCard and Visa Card transactions.

 

Our Food and Beverage Services:

Breakfast Buffet Open 7 days from 6.30am to 10.00am

 

Public Holidays:

Limited housekeeping services – replacement of towelling, room amenities, and rubbish collection only.

The restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner.

 

Cancellation Policy (General):

Please be advised reservation cancellations or amendments require 48 hours’ notice before the arrival date.

Cancellations within the 48-hour notice period will incur a minimum of one day or more of accommodation charges.

This policy may vary based on demand.

No Show Policy:

If you fail to arrive at the hotel, one night’s accommodation or more will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of the booking or you will forfeit prepayment.

 

Group Bookings:

Group booking cancellations, amendments, and payment details vary; please contact our Reservations Manager at 03-9296 8888 or email res@clarionsuitesgateway.com.au  for further information, Special Conditions will apply.

 

Other Conditions of Stay:

All reservations that are made on our website are net and non-commissionable and may not be combined with any other offers.

For any reservations or other services for which fees may be charged, you agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed, including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with all rules and restrictions regarding the availability of rates, products, or services. You shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments during your stay and
arising out of your stay at this hotel.

You agree that your liability for this bill is not waived and agree to be held personally liable in the event that the indicated person, company (Travel Agent), association or other, fails to pay for any part of the full amount of these charges.

Room rates are based on Australian Dollars. Room rates are guaranteed only in Australian Dollars. You (our guest) agree that you will pay to us (the Operator) the room rate for each day of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you depart from our hotel.

You agree that any charges for services provided to you, not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account for settlement as arranged or may be charged to the same credit card used to pay the account at the time of departure or to the credit card used to guarantee payment of your account.

You agree that checkout time is 11.00 am on the date shown for your departure unless we agree to another time. You agree departure after that time may incur an additional room charge. Check-in time is 2pm and Check-out time is 11am.

You agree that we may apply a charge if you require guaranteed early access to your accommodation prior to 2pm or alternatively if you require a check out later than 11am.

You agree to pay interim accounts as directed by the Hotel when presented even though you may not have departed from our hotel.

You agree to advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for additional persons not included in the number stated at the time of registration.

The number of persons in EACH Room Type, is limited based on Hotel policy.

Studio Room (up to 2 Adults)
One Bedroom Suite (up to 4 Adults)
Two Bedroom Suite (up to 6 Adults)

You agree you are and remain personally liable to pay the total amount due on departure unless prior settlement arrangements have been accepted by us.

You agree to pay any loss or damage to the room or equipment in the room during your period of use.

You agree to return the key and/or security card for the room at the time of your departure Clarion Suites Gateway has a Non-Smoking policy therefore smoking in the room and/or balcony will result in a $250.00 cleaning fee charged on departure. All rooms are inspected after departure and late charges will apply if applicable. Further charges may apply in the event that the Hotel is unable to resell the room due to smoke odors.

 

Duty of Care:

As the Hotel guest, you are responsible for all damages, breakages, and rental loss in the event of repairs as a result of damage caused by you or your guests
Damage to Room Content, such as furniture, appliances, room painting, or others will be charged to your credit card, and you will be advised accordingly, which will be supported by images of the damage.

You agree any monies or other valuables, goods, or vehicles that belong to you, brought to the room, general grounds or car park remain your responsibility, we are not responsible for their safekeeping. You agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your goods or valuables, regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

You agree that regardless of your length of stay there is no tenancy or other rights created under any Landlord or Tenant laws and there are no such laws, which apply to your stay. We grant you a license to stay in our hotel and you agree that we may terminate the license at any time without giving a reason.

We adhere to the National Privacy Principle relating to the collection of personal information. All information collected from you on the registration card is required either to meet the requirements of the State legislation regarding the maintenance of a guest register, for fire safety reasons, for billing purposes, or to market our services to you. We will not make this information available to any third party without
your prior consent except where required by law or to enforce our collection of amounts owing by you.

You must advise us if any details on the registration card are incorrect. All this data will be retained for the minimum length of time to comply with taxation and accounting requirements (usually seven years).

Any personal data is accessible only to authorized personnel of the Operator. A charge will be levied if a copy of this paper registration card is required after six months from your departure. Copies (other than electronic data) are not available after two years. We will not knowingly permit any misuse of this data. We will adhere to our Industry Association standards for use of any personal information.

 

BUILDING NOISE & NO PARTY POLICY:

Clarion Suites Gateway is restricted to Owners Corporation Rules which state that the level of noise must be kept to an ambient level at all times, in support of consideration offered to other guests and residents. Parties, loud music and excessive noise is not permitted in this building. Therefore, Hotel Management reserves the right to evict guests that do not comply with this standard. The Hotel further reserves the right to charge your accommodation the Full Room Rate for the transgression of the No Party Policy.
